What is stainless steel ER 308L？
ER-308L is welded by semi-automatic technology with 100% Argon or 100% Helium shielding gas (TIG welding) to create a stable weld with little splash and a bright, smooth weld. TIG welding rod ER-308L is suitable for welding all kinds of vessels, including chemical tanks, load-bearing structures, acid-resistant equipment, and equipment in the medical and food industries.
Applications for ER 308L stainless steel
ER308L stainless steel welding wire and electrodes are commonly used in various industries for welding 304 and 304L stainless steels, as well as other similar grades.
