The edges of the strip are then heated to a high temperature and fused together using an electric current or a high-energy beam. This process creates a strong, continuous seam along the length of the tube.
Stainless steel welded tube is available in a variety of sizes, wall thicknesses, and grades of stainless steel, including austenitic, ferritic, and duplex grades. The choice of grade and wall thickness will depend on the specific application and the required mechanical properties of the tubing.
